PRE-ATTENDANCE registration

You can pre-book your baby/childs place in advance of them attending. We do operate a waiting list.

Please call 01764 662266 or email and we will forward you our doodlebug welcome pack.

• You and your child will be invited along to the nursery in advance to meet our friendly staff and look around doodlebugs.
  
• You will have the opportunity to stay and play with your child and you can arrange further visits during this time, if you feel you or your child will benefit from this.

1st Stage ~ Email or call us for a welcome pack and to arrange a visit. You can contact us at short notice, we will be happy to accommodate your visit.

2nd Stage ~ Bring your baby/child along for an initial tour of our Nursery, you and your child can meet our staff, see our excellent facilities and get a feel for our nursery environmet.

3rd Stage ~ Complete and return you registration form. Once you are registered with doodlebugs, we suggest that mum/dad or grand-parent come along and play at the nursery with your child, for about an hour, once or twice.

This will lay the groundwork for a smoother transition. When your child sees that you trust the situation, then your child is more able to trust it too. Our aim is to try to avoid any distress. Each child has different needs when it comes to "settling in" so if you feel your child would benefit from further visits, we will be only too happy to accommodate this.

Proper planning and transitional steps will ease your child into Nursery, we understand that it is not just children who can feel separation anxiety, us parents do too, but before too long, parents and children alike will feel comfortable, happy and relaxed here at doodlebugs !
