Partnership with Parents

A strong partnership with parents is essential to create and maintain a happy experience for children. At doodlebugs we welcome parental involvement and suggestions.

A Key Worker system ensures that observation and assessment is thorough and individual records are maintained; these are available to parents at all times. We also hold regular parents evenings, dates are posted on the parents notice board in the reception area.

doodlebugs staff will assist in the induction programme of the local schools, visiting with the pre-schoolers.

A profile of each child is shared with you and forwarded to their new school, in order to help make the transition a smooth experience, and to celebrate with you and your child their past nursery achievements at doodlebugs.
