The doodlebug ethos ~ happy children = happy parents !
At doodlebugs we want to provide you and your child with first class childcare in an environment which is safe, secure, happy, healthy and stimulating.
We believe that all children require the best start in life and the best care. Any working environment has a culture, at doodlebugs our culture is warm, caring, friendly and supportive.
We adopt a child-centred approach where children are encouraged to develop their creativity, individuality and self-confidence in secure surroundings, led by trained staff who have a real rapport with the children in their care.
Children need to feel a sense of security and belonging when they are away from their parents, and this is key to the philosophy of doodlebugs. We strive to ensure that all children feel happy, relaxed and safe, and encourage them to feel confident in co-operating and developing good relationships with the adults caring for them and with the other children at doodlebugs too.
You'll find a wide range of appropriate learning materials and stimulating, high quality toys and activities, both indoors and outdoors. Children are provided with a varied, healthy diet, fresh air, exercise, rest and play, all contributing positively to their physical, emotional and educational development. Surrounded by their peers, they can develop at their own pace, play a full part in activities devised for their age, and enthusiastically learn new skills.
Our emphasis is on providing exceptional care whilst supporting each child individually. Within a framework of the highest ethical standards and equal opportunities. We work closely with parents to provide a level of care that meets high standards.
All our doodlebug children are treated as individuals and are given total love and affection regardless of gender, religion, culture or disability. All our doodle bug children are stimulated by our use of planned activities, which not only include play, but educational elements which will prepare them for their next stage in life. |
